How long will this wig last?

What are knots? 

Knots are where the hairs are hand-tied into the wig cap.  Hand tying of hairs gives the most realistic movement possible.  The "knot" is the portion that is tied into the cap itself.  

What does bleached knots vs unbleached knots mean?

Bleached knots is the process of applying a bleach mixture to the underside of the wig cap where the hairs are tied in to lighten the appearance of the knots.  Unbleached knots means that there has been nothing applied to the knots.  

Are Bleached Knots Better?

Bleached knots generally disguise the knots the best and are most important for darker haired wigs for those that want the most invisible look.  However, the process of bleaching knots does impact the integrity of the knot itself and can over time led to "knot fall out" meaning that some hairs will come out of the wig cap.  This is why some will prefer unbleached knots and use other tactics to disguise the knots including scar tape and pressed powder.
